When did people start talking about Earthshaker again? I brought up ES months ago and got drowned out by all of the DSLASH DSLASH DSLASH people -_-.
The imbagon is better for what you're doing. They're ranged, their adrenaline gain is more consistent, and they get TNTF. Warriors are DPS machines; it's just that DS bars always slot SY because there's no good reason not to.
And what the heck is this "Godmode" label BS? It's a Dslash with SY ... that deserves a ****ing label?

By the way, Paragons are also martial attackers, so counters to melee also have the power to counter Paragons.

A warrior's position is determined by where the enemy is, thus you have to hope the other 7 people of the group aren't bad and actually stay within the warrior's bubble.
A paragon's position is determined by... well, nothing. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the spear's flight path and you'll be able to produce SY at a steady pace. It's quite easy to move around to fit the other members of the party within your earshot rather than hoping you have 7 other players who possess common sense. Also when whatever you're attacking dies it's just a matter of clicking on something within spear range to continue adrenaline build up unlike the warrior that has to move towards the next target.

Pretty much every class counters warriors since there are so many anti-melee spells, stances and hexes. Hexes are the worst since a Warrior cant remove them without being stuck as a Mesmer secondary, and you're remove rate will be so slow that it still wont be worth it when you're hit with 4 or 5 hexes.
